Nice to see you here! I useta work with Tim Rutledge in Seattle. That bike has 650B size wheels, no?

I like the Campy BMX pedals on the other one. Mine are also blue.

I worked at a Trek dealer in that era. Trek would do warranty repair on frames BITD and the customer would have the option of any current year paint and decal.

That's an Aurora Cycle sticker on the seat tube. I may have worked on that one BITD. Nice score!

Note that the wheels are 27". That persisted on the 520 a bit longer than any other Trek road...
