To sum up... in your case, Frame size and Capacity matters, not tire width... and i've seen some creative trimming done to fit too-wide fenders into a frame.

I probably wouldn't put much money towards that bike. Usually the bigger the number for Fuji the lower end the bike with the first number being the frame and the second number being parts designation...

I didn't say the brand was bad. The said bike has a goofy high BB and goofy top tube slope.
This bike is made for MTB conditions. So it'll be poor on the highway.
This bike is too small. Forget it.
