That’s way out of spec for an 11 speed chain. 0.5 is time to start looking for a chain. At 1%, the cassette is probably trashed, too.

For the OP, I've owned bikes that felt "dead" when standing on the pedals and I've felt others that seem to just jump when standing. Those that "jump" is what I would call "snap."
