That is a good point. Maybe shipped there for convenience? I was just spit balling since it seems custom, but a bit odd as well in the choice of lugs, BB, fork crown and dropouts.

That was going to be my suggestion. Brown Brooks saddle and tape would make it classy. Not sure if the thick padding would work with a stiffer tape however.

The earlier ones were made from Columbus IIRC, and had Campy SR...I think. Or maybe Dura Ace EX. Memory is fuzzy on that. And the paint was pink pearl.
