I have the same bike, I believe it is the equivalence of the Speed P8. I changed the seatpost to the litepro and added a new saddle and removable pedals.

Just bought myself a second hand Dahon Speed 8 but needs a little TLC. Believe it needs a new BB, looking at getting a new one installed, anyone know type and size needed (width, length,threading)...

I bought the same model second hand last year, but with a single chainring, 8 spd sram gripshift set up, was a white model. Was £200, solid little bike, have changed the seatpost as it was too heavy...

Well in the end ordered the plastic shim (bamper) from eBay for few pennies less than £4, so can't go wrong! now await shipping from China...............
