I can attest only to the S2 - I have had mine for a few months and love it. It's amazing how I can go faster on that bike (on flats) than my Felt F1 for example due to the aero nature of the bike.

I ended up getting a new CX bike (Scott CX Team) that came with DT Swiss R 1700 wheels. They seem pretty decent and I'll keep them for a while and upgrade later if I start doing a ton of racing.

How was it on the downhill? I would be more nervous about high speeds at night rather than going uphill. Never know what can dart out or perhaps not seeing stuff on the road until the last second.
