It's not cheating if it makes your commute easier/more pleasant. Which ever modification keeps you on your bike everyday is probably worth doing. You know?

My worst fears come alive when I get off of work in the evenings on Thusdays in downtown Austin. The bars are in full swing, and the normally crazy drivers turn insane after a few cocktails.
