Didn't know Campy did those. I actually like the thumbies on my old shimanos. Thought they had mostly been phased out.

Just buy brifters with the thumb downshifting....

Just buy brifters with the thumb downshifting. They're old and crappy soo should be cheap but can provide a similar shifting speed.
