basically what happened was I had slightly torn it when i fractured my tibia plateau.. then last summer i crashed my bike commuting at about 20mph and it just really hurt after that... couldn't walk...

UPDATES: Went from 9 speed Ultegra to SRAM Force - awesome, back to the Arione. Also picked up some SIDI Genius 6.6s and WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

you're fine. HOWEVER, riding a fixed gear on a trainer can be another story. My Track Pro has a bit of chain suck (really only through the paint) on the chain stay because the chainring cuts so close...
