if the fork is missing no problem , trow a carbon one so you have the excuse to put a brake disc too..

definitely a good starting project

Now i have 35mm for 1600g (disks) and they are awsome.

i think your best choice will be the Hunt since they are light and 35mm is fair enought...

The bike with 29 seems to be easy for climbing because the whells height roll easy on rocks and small bumps. But the 26 is a lot more agile....
