Hmm... By all this info it sounds like the 500/510 would work just fine. I prefer the 510 screen, and that it uses GLONASS instead of just GPS satellites; so I'd be leaning towards the 510.

Personally I'd search the Facebook fixed gear groups. Around here I see Aerospoke front wheels for $150 regularly, I would look at things like that, or people who have take offs.

That's a VERY relative point. What's fast for you isn't fast for me, or vice versa.

For me I can easily hit 30mph on any stretch of flat road, but I don't consider myself a has rider.
