That sounds like a challenge.

Heard of Stuxnet? Or, closer to home, Loapi? It has caused physical damage to Android phones. (No, I am not saying any "updates" have done this, or that that's the...

That's a possible issue. I don't spend a lot of time on very rough surfaces. I don't think it would damage the phone but can't make any promises.

And I'm not one of those who needs to wear...

I got the Marin

Picked it up today. I didn't care much about the color, but the one on the sales floor was indeed the dark red people chose from the manufacturer's site. I was able to take it for a test drive on the...

Time to update - to one of these?

I am recently retired and currently riding my 1969 3-speed Schwinn Racer; which I've had from new and am still pretty happy with it, except that (a) some parts are wearing out that will be hard to...

What a bizarre system

"Counterintuitive" is an understatement. The bike lanes should be adjacent to vehicle traffic, not between parked cars and the curb. This way, people have to exit cars and walk across the lane...

You have to expect such ridiculous behavior sometimes, considering that even without roundabouts (which, as others have said, many US drivers just don't understand), some drivers will stop at an...

Thanks - I did not fully appreciate the difference. Now that I see, that's something I can check. If the gear cluster is freewheel type, I have found a replacement rear wheel that would make the bike...

New wheels for old bike?

My wife has not ridden in many years until recently. She is now trying to get back into riding (just on local streets and paved trails). She is small and has an old 24" mountain bike that fits her...

Two ways to *initiate* a turn, but not to follow through

Obviously all turns that do not result in crashes require that you keep your center of gravity in the correct line over the contact point between the tires and the pavement. There is one and only one...
