I haven't had any pedal strike issues but I've been pretty mindful on corners I can see it being an issue if you hit a corner fast but hasn't been an issue here yet

Lay off the caffeine, take a nice warm shower. The fact that you are still 'wigging out' so long later it slightly concerning but I suspect a doc would just tell you to lay off the caffeine as well....
