Upon closer inspection of the tube I only see one...

Upon closer inspection of the tube I only see one small slit. I do not see a "snake bite." There is no large blow out.

Had to take my car in for service today. Put my bike on my Thule rack, dropped the car off and rode the 3.5 mi. home. Will do the reverse to pick up the car later.

Thanks for all the replies. I cut the old hook off the nylon strap with bolt cutters. Then I bought a snap hook from the local hardware store which works perfectly! Thanks again
