It does count as an accident. When I hit a car with my bike (my fault), it affected my car insurance. Bikes are vehicles, just ask the advocacy and safety forum.

But the OP should really try the Cinelli M-71's. They are impossible to clip out accidently :)

I painted a spinergy. not the spokes, just the rim. i used 1200 grit sandpaper to dull the clear and got a body shop to paint it. it turned out very good. go for it.
