It is a somewhat oddball one -- Shimano 7 speed cassettes are the same spacing as Campagnolo 8 speed cassettes, just with one fewer cog. A buddy of mine happened to have an old 8 speed drivetrain...

This fork is not necessarily from a Cimarron, so it could be from a contemporary ... oh god, lots of bikes. Specialized, Panasonic, Kuwahara I think? all used this same lugged unicrown Tange fork....
