more trail is more stable maybe starting to feel sluggish, less trail more likely to feel twitchy...

slacker head and seat angles should mean a more comfortable ride.

you should consider getting a new fork built for it with less rake than the fork that's on it, something real close to the original fork rake. it will make the ride much more stable.
