Related question, how does one keep the brake pad from twisting when the screw is tightened? It tends to turn in the direction of the screw twist. I’ve used pliers but ther must be a better idea....

I know this is an old thread. However when I encountered the problem, I used a Dremmel with a thin disc to cut the tab nestled in the dropout space. Better tha doing damage to the front fork.
