Yes, it's definately a better quality build of frame, but as you say - no SLX sticker and the Gip dropouts would suggest something lower down.

I'm thinking probably Aelle, which is not bad thing....

I can confirm that the rim Easton use is an Alex DA28 700c (ERD 584.8).

Sun market the same rim as Sun Swift.
