I run a 10 speed chain on old 7 speed Suntour rings so if you're not using a narrow wide, you can just use some old chainrings.

I think the niche is about to get more popular. A vintage roadbike is no longer "hipster" enough and thanks to gravel bikes a offroad/allroad dropbar bike is no longer frowned upon by the cycling...

Ahh I see. For now i'll try it with liners and letting the cabels run through the velcro straps, if that fails when the bag is heavy i'll try it with bunge cord as well.

I haven't tried the Maxxis but the Billy Bonkers...

I haven't tried the Maxxis but the Billy Bonkers feels super fast with 4-5 bar yet still comfortable and it is surprisingly goood in slightly muddy conditions.

Thanks, the pads are very close to the rim yet it allways felt like they are too far away, I think it was just my impression and everything is more or less fine.
