There are two smaller guys in my neighborhood with tween boys who ride 20in bmx's with the kiddos. One raced and the other just rides his chromed out dream 20incher with a full afro.

There is always some awkwardness with a new bike. Age and flexibility exacerbates the issue. I see now why Mixte style frames or a dropper can help with getting on and off in city chaos.

I went to the pickup of a bespoke bike for a light, 5ft nothing 75yo rider.

Super practical parts and design. Frame had rear rack mount points, DT bosses and rim break mounts. All cables exposed....
