I have mine slightly tilted up. It won't be a problem to oncoming traffic. It does have various settings in case you want to tone it down some, but I almost always keep it at the brightest setting.

They do have a somewhat slimmer profile than the Lakes or Wölvhammers, mostly due to the thinner sole, which is a carbon composite.
