My 28/9 bmx is running at ~51GI which doesn't feel too bad for booting around the neighbourhood.
Both my Single Speeds are running 42/16 on 700/25's at...

What's the ideal gear ratio for the mid-schools and modern race bmx bikes?
I'm not a fan of the micro-drive "looks" of my bmx but at 28/9 it seems to run fine cruising around the neighbourhood....
