Of course, serial # TU 20476. According to Miyata the first letter T indicates that the frame was made in 1991. BB shell is 68. Not sure what model Miyata it is. Thanks for your help.

I also have used swiss stop yellows on aluminum rims and then switched back to carbon. Never noticed any shards of aluminum in the pads, but use a file and rough them up anyway to be on the safe side.
