+1 here! 2x rear tires and 1x front tire per season on an average. Next season, I buy 3 new ones and keep the old front tire as a spare.

That's high. I get 2000-2500km (1200-1500mi) out of a rear Schwalbe Pro One tire. I could probably stretch it and roll another 500 to 1000kms, but they square off and behave differently. It's 50%...

Some people like to live dangerously. If that thing explodes at high speed on a descent, there will be a serious hospital bill (unless that guy lives in Canada and/or has a free health care system).

Yeah, I'd say it depends on both the tire & rim combo... Once you find the perfect combo, you keep it and cross your fingers that the factory doesn't change its molds lol.

5000kms is more than OK lifespan. I'd be happy to get this mileage out of my Pro Ones (the last 2 rear ones I've had squared off at 3000kms). Not sure I would ride a tire like yours going down a hill...

Schwalbe Pro One, Addix Race Compound (28mm). Currently using them with Muc-Off Sealant and it's holding its air pretty well (better than with Giant / Stans sealant at least).

Schwalbe Pro One! Very easy to mount tubeless (could have done it without a compressor), and I am please with how they perform. They are also very silent.
