I was thinking on saving the cassette by installing a brand new exact same KMC chain X9. But i guess it's too late because the bike will slip on the smallest cog while in load. I had 6000 km on them...

You have to follow what Cutsit did as shown above, which is to change the freewheel to a DNP 11-28. The smallest cog of 11 will give you more room to pedal, thus you won't run out of spin as fast.

I actually did this.. the clunk only happens when i triggered the front brake and pull the bike in reverse. If i didn't do this, it will only clunk one time and won't happen again.
