Yes. I simply didn't want to put a lot of money into the lightest wheels and components without starting with the lightest frame I could find.

Lightest steel that accepts wider tires?

I have acquired a love for steel bikes. I mostly ride a Surly LHT, Trek 400, Lemond in 853 and a Miyata 610. I would love to own a light weight steel bike that would accept at least 32mm tires....
