Perkins itself is only 2 miles, but depending upon which side you come from you have to climb either 1 or 2.4 miles just to get there.

They are all steady climbs though, no crazy jumps in pitch...

I use the Forerunner 305 with the cadence sensor...

I use the Forerunner 305 with the cadence sensor also. They make a bar mount for it so you don't have to wear it on the wrist.
