They must be using a high flex modulus resin to get the properties needed. My first guess is a rubber modified epoxy. Super strong and tough. I’m sure they have tested the the life out of that frame...

Unfortunately, the chain dropping is a real issue. Mine drops multiple times a week, but it has never caused any unsafe events. Other than oily fingers, I just slip it back on and go about my way....
