Yes, those are aftermarket holes. I didn't drill them - it came to me like that, but it seems like if you wanted to save the weight, it would have been more effective to shorten the post a little.

Thanks, all. I guess the general consensus is that it's not a Super Competition. It's too bad - it was an attractive price. I wonder why the owner didn't put on the Reynolds 531 decals as well.
