I put a Shimano Alfine 8 135mm OLD in a SE Lager...

I put a Shimano Alfine 8 135mm OLD in a SE Lager hi-ten steel frame by cold-setting the dropouts from 120mm to 135mm. Rode that for 3 years no issues but I definitely would not recommend it....
