I had a similar problem when I sold one of my bikes, I pulled the Ultegra off and it now resides on my Cannondale ST400. Both are nice seat posts.

I can keep a pace of around 22 for a few miles and then I fade, going down hill a high of 33 and then I'll grab a brake yea I'm chicken. I'm old and too heavy to hit the concrete.
