in writeups, the shifter cell button batteries...

in writeups, the shifter cell button batteries should last 3-6 months or more. So I am still puzzled.
The main battery inside the seat post should last over a year....but needs to be charbed every 3...

It is a new/recent Shimano Ultegra rear derailleur. It has two 4-5mm protrusions on the back side of the derailleur where the hanger is to be attached & tightened onto.
