A wider tire can usually be ridden with less pressure. All other things being equal it will ride more smoothly than a narrower tire. Bet you know that already. :thumb: 27" or 700c wouldn't matter....

I think if I commuted on an ebike I'd prefer flat bars. I'd want a throttle for smooth starts and I think that would be easier with flat bars. Also for the upright position in traffic.
