Can anyone identify this older Cannondale ?

Please see the only picture I have.

Naturally, it is from the left side of the bike.

The seller says that she has no information about the age, components, or model of the bike (obviously not hers).

Looks like an older classic "round-tube" aluminum Cannondale but I cannot find anything that looks like it in the catalogs and she says that there is nothing on the frame to indicate a model name.

Any help would be appreciated..

Possibly earlier than that. The first MTB I bought was in 1990. It was a Cannondale with the
same cantilever rear dropouts. I’m not sure how long they continued that design.

She says now that the bike has seen little use and the cranks and derailleurs are Shimano 105.... so possibly later ??

That's a 3.0 frame, first introduced in 1989. That's probably 90 or 91. Aluminum fork and thin seat stays - I had one for 20 years and it rode much nicer than the preceding '80s models due to those features. First production bike with a sub 3 pound frame weight. Well designed geometry, too.

This was probably one of the bikes with 128mm hub spacing so you could put 126 or 130 hubs in place.

Vintage Cannondale has the catalogs if you want the specs. That thing is huge - 62?

The 1993 had the brake cable moved to the bottom of the top tube so it is before that.
