For sale is my early '50s Armstrong frame, 24" size with straight gauge 531. It's a lovely looking paint scheme with classic mid-level lugs, though with the patina expected of a 70 year old frame with its original paint. Harder to find English '50s Reynolds bikes in this size, and not high-end. The bigger surface rust spots I've treated with some naval jelly, otherwise the frame is the same as the photos, with the addition of some cleaning of the lugs since the photos and light polishing to bring out the green a bit. I did service the headset so its got fresh balls and grease which I'll package. I've got a '51 Sun Wasp in DB 531 in a larger size that fits me better, so this one is off to a more suitable home - perhaps yours!
