Been awhile since I’ve had an aluminium bike. What initially appeared to be braze ons turned out to be hex head screws, screwed all the way in. Bottle cage mounted. I guess I should look for an insulated bottle while at Decathlon.

Definitely more of a pain in the ass than installing one on my minivans, might wanna pay to get it installed after all unless you like fartin' around under a car and cursing some.
And this one looks kinda flimsy, so don't get a boat

I have a Curt hitch installed on the Prius. Hitch rack is the way to go for bikes for sure. I have a 1up and it's been great so far.

My wife’s Tesla has a hidden hitch and it’s a bastard to use.

Then he probably followed that with: “**** ‘em if they can’t take a joke”. 😂

I was just thinking that. FTP is 260. Garmin puts the range between 232-262. First set I stayed in the green but my HR didn’t feel high at all. Second set I went to 275. Felt really good but that’s VO2 area. Third set my legs hurt, did my best to keep it at 260. I think maybe my FTP is higher than 260. At threshold my HR should be at 174 and it stayed around 168.

I doubt this is possible in a mini also comfortably carrying four passengers.
It’s also kind of cool that the top three major bike brands are represented.

Nice looking ride, BAM! I'm sure the missus is excited.
There is a Mazda branded hitch made for your car: 2023 Mazda CX-5 Cx-5 trailer hitch - 00008ER06A - Genuine Mazda Accessory (mazdausa.com). You could have it installed while you are here in May if you don't get to it sooner. There is a dealer not far from AA headquarters.

The adaptive cruise control on the honda blows the mazdas out of the water. It was basically hands off, following the road.

19mm tires: aero and great for riding gravel in the snow.
Franco Chioccioli, hammering up Gavia during the 1988 Giro. Probably in 42x23 or some ridiculous gear like that.
