This is a very unusual bike. It is complete but the tires need replacement in order to ride it. Check out the front brake system. This 3 speed bike has a very detailed paint job. It has a generator for the light, built in bike lock. (locks the wheels)
I'm not quite sure of the age but based on the leather seat style, fenders and guards I would think late 1950's or early 60's.
It would make a great display piece but could be a neat daily rider with new tires.
If any of you you collectors know anything about this bike, I'd appreciate your input.

correct it is a Trek 560 with 501 tubing. Obviously something happened to the original front fork, an accident? is that why the down tube is hidden by the handlebar where a bend would most likely be? Either way, maybe if someone has a 560 and needs some parts it could make a good cannibal bike assuming the original components are still on the bike, if the original components are gone the bike is junk.
