I posted about this same bike in C&V. I personally looked at this bike about 3 months ago, only reason I didn't pick it up was that it is just a little too big for me. The seller was asking $300 back then.
Just two things to note, there is a little paint and chrome damage on the right chain stay where somebody dropped the chain. Also the brake hoods are dried out and cracked. Otherwise the bike is in beautiful condition.
Not mentioned in the description is the Shimano 600 headset, mint condition.
If anyone wants this, I am willing to facilitate it. But hopefully not as a conversion project.

I know what has been said about the schwinn cutter and how heavy the bike is but for an entry level ss bike do you think $150-175 is decent? I would be using it for recreational and some commuting to school or work.

not the place to ask. You should ride the bike and if it feels like its worth $150 then go for it... Also, check and try and find some more prices online and see how much other people are selling them for... Lastly, if you had the bike, what do you think you would want to sell it for if you bought it brand new?

Just in time for NAHBS in Austin. If you know somebody who's going and showing, share this ad with them. They'll thank you!
The ultimate custom bike "bling" (excuse the cheap jargon). Elegant and arresting. Complements copper, titanium, leather and wood beautifully.
The perfect finishing touch for your already extraordinary bike! Brand new in its original box, with booklet, etc.
With two-tone leather and copper plated titanium rails this is the original one finished with copper rivets.
Not available anywhere anymore worldwide (...go ahead, search!...)
Additional photos/info. available; just ask.

Your cog is slipping.
$250! If that were my size I'd be on the phone right now!
If someone doesn't buy that I'm punching each one of you in the face.

A little big for me, and in Phoenix, or I'd also be trying to get my hands on it. Vintage Reynolds 531, nice wheels, two forks?

For that price, I'd offer the dude just about whatever he wanted to ship it if it were 56-58cm. I love old Raleigh Pro Tracks.
Just to put it into perspective:

My size and in my price range! I'd sell my Raleigh Competition here in PDX for 250 and buy that joker in a second, then ride the hell out of it! A complete track bike for $250.00???? If I only had a real job!
