At last night's team sprint practice, I put the beat down on all-comers, including masters women, and junior girls. Also managed to outsprint a former masters world champ (team pursuit) but I don't think he was trying very hard.

F*** the police.
After having my El Cheapos eject the lens a half dozen times in the last few rides, I'm breaking down. For some reason I have no problem buying two SRM's but paying more that $40 for sunglasses sends me into a death spiral of frugality.

I'm not that kind of hip. The team offered up a deal on Oakleys in the spring. Even heavily discounted they were still too rich for my blood. I promptly went and bought a pair of Giro Instigators to dim the Oakley urge. The Giro line was on uber clearance at the LBS and I still felt a little violated.
Nice helmet GA. I picked up the same one via the CC deal.

Lady just came in to buy some stuff. Probably 80-85 years old. Black T-shirt with some Chinese looking characters, a year, etc.
T-shirt, on the back, in relatively big letters.
"Year of the C*ck"
I have to believe this was one of those made-overseas-and-we-didn't-realize-there's-a-cultural-difference-between-rooster-and-cock-and-let's-blow-out-these-tshirts-at-a-bargain-store kind of shirt. And the poor lady bought one.

So it would seem that according to USA Cycling's chart, I'm the #1 Master's TT guy in the nation right now.
The line for autographs starts over there.
All this makes me so excited I'm going to go ride my TT bike. I was planning on doing that anyway, but now I'll be immune from the curses and bottles hurled my way.

I missed my chance to get my autograph last time Ontario happened. Damn!
I don't suppose you're racing Torrance this weekend...
I'm on the fence about Brentwood and San Clemente.
