Thank you for the explanation. I was watching the race last Sunday and while I got the connection to WW I and the strade bianche, I was wondering about the name.

(BTW, I loved to see Marianne Vos win the ladies' version. Nice to see that even L'Eroica participants can win a real race every now and then. )

yep. but in Oregon you don't have to fully stop at a stop sign and I go up so slow its close enough.

France opened up its borders so I took the Koga and headed south for a day trip that was supposed to happen on the second Sunday of April. Empty roads only.









Trouée d'Arenberg, pretty legendary and pretty mean.

Dansey's Pass. Fantastic riding if you're round that way. Imo one of the best routes in the South Island.
