Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

89" Cannondale Criterion R800, Mavic rims, Eno hub, Modolo stem / bars, Shimano Ultegra 55t x Dura-Ace 19t, spliced cheapo BMX chains.

Long time coming. Finished it, took it out for a ride, stared at my feet for some reason - crashed into my trunk about 10yds from my driveway!

Just a mock-up for function check, much to do. Will post pics of final product.

For a second, I thought you meant "cross" as in " 'cross lever"... Needless to say, I was very disappointed for that second.

Finally got my Falcon renovated. Fresh Paint, decals, wood rims & nickel plating. It got too slow at the shop this winter for me to stay on so I took a job as a courier until I started at my new shop. The Falcon got beat up pretty bad so I treated her to makeover. Now I'm back in a shop doing what I do best and my bike can get all the care and attention it needs.

see the rest, and the before shots here:
