You should run and not walk...as far from this bike as possible. That was a very low end bike in the day, not worth scrap value.

Maybe not a "killer" price, with banged up (unoriginal) paint, banged up mis-mash of components, dent in top tube. I'd consider buying it if I needed that size, but I wouldn't think I'm stealing it.

Since there's been some 800 series Treks in the drop bar conversion thread that have made me do double-takes, here's a 1990 830 that's in good shape.

I'm not very familiar with them, but possible Paramount? It's got a weird mish-mash of parts, but there's definitely some value there.

It measures 22" from crank center to the top of the seat tube, which makes it about a 56cm frame suitable for someone in the 5'-9" ~ 6' height range.
It has a lugged frame of Tange 2 double-butted tubing, Sugino crankset, 18-speed drivetrain with down tube shifters, Levin headset, Blackburn rear carrier rack, frame-mounted pump, and brand new 700 x 28c tires.
It's in pretty good shape for its age, but could use some basic maintenance and fresh cables.
