55 Miles O.D. Wind gusts 18+ MPH might be cool, but they're not cool with me.

47 miles on thurs. got my ass absolutely kicked by a 1,300' climb at 10-15%. apparently there's a HUGE difference between 8-10% and 10-15%

I feel your pain, 15 of my 63 was on a tree covered MUP which is super nice during the very hot summers we have, and we had nasty storms come through yesterday and they did not send the trucks out to blow the path off as I believe they gave everyone the weekend off for Columbus day. There was lots of leaves an unbelievable amount of small dead tree limbs on the path, it was a mine field of crap waiting to run up and get jammed into my wheels. I caught one on the edge that I did not see and it nearly did that, but broke and put a nice hole in my calf. The only saving factor is that it was not raining.

It got to a point that I was plucking organic material from my drivetrain about every 5-7 miles as it would impact the stability of the chain on the cassette.

Being a complete and total wimp, since it was raining like crazy, I rode 20 fake miles (Zwift) and climbed 1000 fake feet. I almost felt fake tired when done.

A bit drizzly today, so I didn't feel like riding too far. Rode 25km at lunch.

I don't have enough garage depth to allow the car AND rack inside when mounted. Also, the constant beeping/warning when the rack interferes with both the backup camera and warning sensor would drive me further crazy!

My hitch rack weighs 50 lbs and is not to much work to get on and off but lugging it around to store it is more of a pain when I use it at least 4 times a week. Best of luck
