I don’t think a German Shepherd needs to ask a cat permission for a damn thing.

From what I've read, in order to work on an induction stove, a pan has to be magnetic, i.e. it's not enough that it be stainless. I tested all my stainless skillets, and only one was magnetic. It's also got a copper core, so it should be perfect for induction. The others, a magnet wouldn't stick to at all. All my saucepans and stockpots are aluminum, and I have some heavy copper saucepans and sautoirs, which absolutely won't work. ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)

Just cancelled our trip to the Southwest Missouri Tandem Rally. It's a great tandem rally and I'm tolerating my new cancer med pretty well but my wife (and I) fear that four days of heat, humidity and hills may be a few rides too far.

Finally.
An average does not compare to a streak. No rest days. One grinding day after another. Cal Ripken isn’t famous for his average.
I am no longer there.
Wrong.

Time to update the baby eagles' progress.
Here we see Tony and Vinny each taking an assessment of how much pain might result if they did anything fool hearted, like fall out of the nest.

Looks like they have compared notes and decided that staying in the center of the nest would be most prudent at this stage of development.

Also, the cold continues to rage inside of me but the sore throat is gone and I'm now coughing with regularity. Chest and head are thick with congestion like Atlanta during a rainy day rush hour.
