The brazing on those Arvon frames is fabulous.
That said, NOTHING can compare to this Ritchey! Aemmer, you've done true homage.

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
What stands out even more with Tom's work is the incredible production numbers.

Not vintage, but it is steel! I just dropped my Vicious Cycles Metal Guru off for fresh decals, paint, and disc conversion. I'll be able to pick it up in about a month, and then the build starts

Sorry got carried away comparing different Magura levers and figured I might as well share. Not sure why I end up with those but not one set of Tomaselli's..

My 1992 purple to blue fade, with a bunch of upgrades. New Bontrager saddle, FSA seat post, Salsa bars, Vintage ergo grips, STX thumb shifter/brake combo, upgraded to LX rear derailour, SPD clipless pedals. It's steal and heavy, but a great riding bike.

I have a '93 Mongoose IBOC with Rockshox Mag 21 that I purchased new and have toured with twice in Europe. It's distinguishing feature is the "Nutcracker" top tube. Rear triangle is a bit radical. Bullet proof frame..Picture later , maybe. If I can upload it.

Thanks guys, yes the truss is original to the frame. It's for shouldering the bike up too-big hills I think. A friend of mine has a 1970's Gitane cyclo-cross frame with the same design.

Picked this up last weekend - 1994 KHS Montana Comp. Mostly original; I changed the saddle, tires, stem, and grips. The frame, made with True Temper AVR tubes, weighed in at 4.45 lbs. That makes it the lightest steel frame I have ever owned - which includes Tange Prestige, Ultimate Ultralight, and Reynolds 853 tubed frames.
