Try Aliexpress . piece , not wholesale .There is plenty of options and prices . Currently Chinese New Year FESTS is dragging on my purchase 60 volt 20 ah $ 633.00 US Though my humble advice is to run 60v . Both my 500 & 600 watts bikes can. In Fact when my Ping Battery fully charges it reaches 71 volts AliExpress.com

Veloteq Cavalier gear box problem
So, the symptom was, the bike was just in 'neutral'.
I removed the whole gear box with motor (not in hub).
Split the casing: several 10mm? bolts on the outside. Two 8mm bolts on the inside face. And the buggers hid an 8 mm bolt inside the brake housing (find it with a flashlight!).
The problem is the 'dog clutch'. Must turn in one direction, neutral, when pedaled, catch when the motor is driving it.
It is done by 8 or so small metal wedges that wedge themselves against the bearing races when turned. Except they are held in by thin plastic ring, which fell out, wedges fell out.
I think a 'washer' 22mm id and 39mm od, made of super thin metal is needed to keep the plastic ring in.
Opinions?
