Hey guys it's been awhile. I'm curious to know what saddle you guys are using on your Giant Roam? I went from the stock 2018 Giant Roam saddle, to a WTB Speed (which probably was not wide enough for me), to a Bontrager Sport (which is wider than the WTB Speed) saddle. I'm still not really happy with the current saddle on my Roam.
You just need to find a saddle that works for your butt. My butt really likes the Brooks Cambium line of saddles generally but have been quite surprised by Selle Royal and less surprised but still happy with Ergon saddles but it all comes down to what your butt likes but also most importantly on any bike actually adjusting the saddle for you making sure the tilt, fore and aft positions are good and the height is right. All too frequently people ride a saddle for no time at all or very minimal time without any adjustments for them and some how can determine a saddle is the wrong one. You have to ride it and you have to adjust it before you can really tell anything about anything. Whenever someone stares at a saddle for a second and says "I need a replacement for that" I always ask "what can you actually tell me about that saddle?" The Selle Royal on the particular bike it was on was left on it because the saddle I wanted was out of stock for a while due to the endemic and once I adjusted it for me I really actually liked it enough to keep it until it got replaced under warranty but I wanted to try another Ergon saddle so that replacement is waiting for a bike.
