I can take neither pepto nor omeprazol because they stop me up. Lately I've been experimenting with Famotidine. Something I picked up at Kroger. I do it as a pre-ride thing. I'm also fiddling with no sugar or concentrated protein before a ride. I had a veggie burrito this morning and it went well.

You know, datlas, there is no need to end the world quarterly any more. Addiction is barely alive; there's no way it's taxing the server in its current incarnation. Sad!

It’s supposedly released by the lining of the nasal sinuses and you breath it into the lungs, where it is transferred to the blood. The supposed benefits look a bit sketchy to my jaded eye.

It’s a free radical that lasts only a second or two. It’s very important for cell signaling inside cells.

That much I know. The idea that breathing it in from your nose increases blood PCO2, increasing oxygen uptake by muscle (or whatever) enough to make a clinical difference, not so much.

This is how rumor's get started, nothing could be further from the truth. And they weren't bickering, they were friendly sparring, like Vol & Coasting used to do all the time. Keeps things interesting.
