it is hard to see, but the lime jersey guy seems to have a backwards fanny pack...... good place for a service weapon, so my guess would be yes

Probably. I think it's cool that the Secret Service has to somehow provide agents who can keep up with George W Bush or John Kerry. They're both good cyclists.

Ah, cool. Did you talk to him or LA about cycling? I hope to be old man fast one day. Or maybe I'm in denial on the "old man" part and its already happened...

Jean Louis Trintingnat

A 1971 VEB post card from East Germany

Photo itself undated

He would have been forty if taken that year; born 11 December 1930

Readers with image massaging savvy may be able to discern the make of his mount from its seat tube transfer...

I saw him in concert in March. And he biked off the stage to close one of the encores. Obvi on a purple bike.

Condor bikes:

What do Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Bradley Wiggins and Jon Snow have in common? The answer is that they've all owned Condor bikes

Condor did a good deal of bespoke work BITD. Once saw an article about a frame they did for a history buff who had them put The Battle Of Hastings into the lugwork.

No argument. Had me doubts as to both identifications by OP where found. Wonder if a surmisal on their part or if identification represents a bit of a prank/whimsy. No intent to be misleading on my part.

Cino experts will likely be along shortly to identify the mount...

The Zappa look-a-like is Prince Sergio Ferrero di Muresanu, a world champion ultra distance triathlete. His partner is fellow triathlete Andrea Spitzer. Both were Cinelli sponsored.

As for Ronstadt. she appears to be on a Nishiki. Almost surely, just a publicity shot. She wouldn't be riding those pedals in bare feet.

My thought when I looked at that picture was "Ouch, she must have much tougher feet than I do."
